Dueña y editora de publicaciones noticiosas estadounidense. Hija de Eugene Meyer (n. 1875–m. 1959), dueño y editor de The Washington Post (1933–46), Graham estudió en el Vassar College y en la Universidad de Chicago. En 1940 se casó con Philip Graham, quien después se convirtió en el editor del Post. En 1948, los Graham compraron el periódico a Meyer. Después del suicidio de su esposo en 1963, asumió como directora de la Washington Post Co. (adquirente de Newsweek en 1961). Bajo su liderazgo, y mediante la dirección editorial de Ben Bradlee, el Post llegó a ser uno de los periódicos más poderosos de la nación, particularmente con su cobertura del escándalo de Watergate. Su autobiografía Una historia personal fue un best seller y ganó el Premio Pulitzer en 1997.
